Rise earns a WORLD RECORD title for STrONGEST ROBOTIC ARM
On March 3, 2025 this clean, electrically actuated arm lifted over 7,000 pounds putting traditional hydraulic systems on notice. Rise Robotics in collaboration with the US Air Force developed the Beltdraulic Super Jammer Arm in an effort to modernize heavy-lift technology. Tackpoint is thrilled to have been a part of this project and we look forward to the evolution of this groundbreaking technology. Find more details in this press release and video.
STATE OF THE ART Deep Sea Exploration
This suit is the best tool for a notoriously difficult environment. Nuytco Research has developed a hard metal dive suit, allowing divers to operate safely down to a depth of 1,000 feet (305m). Tackpoint’s bearing races are integrated into the specially designed rotary joints, giving the suit exceptional dexterity and flexibility. And if a thousand feet doesn’t do it for you, they can suit you up with an unbelievable 2,000 foot version.
“Garage Squad Robotics” Competes In World Championship
First® Tech Challenge welcomed Calgary, Alberta based team of kids, Garage Squad Robotics to compete in the world championship in Houston. It’s enough that this next generation of innovators and engineers is up against incredible time constraints and challenging conditions. Thank goodness they don’t have to deal with second-best hardware. We’re proud to support this team with the best friction reduction solutions available.

The movie tasked Center Forward Productions with making Kirk the best swivel command chair in the universe. When they needed the ideal bearing fast, Tackpoint and Silverthin transported over the perfect solution.
